These general conditions of contract define the terms and set out the basic rules upon which Way to Blue Apartments accepts reservations for the facilities described in the web site www.waytoblueapartments.it

The rates include all rental costs . If there are some extras , such as final cleaning or other, these extras are always clearly indicated . We remind that many locations in Italy apply the accommodation tax : it change by location , it is not included in the rental price and it can be paid at the moment of check in.

As mentioned in point 2., tourists who stay in an accommodation facility in Italy, may have to pay the "Accommodation tax" established by the City Councils.
Here you can find tourist tax applied in main cities:
Rome The overnight tax of Euro 3,50 is only due for the first 10 days. Kids under 10 years of age do not pay.
Florence: The overnight tax of Euro 2,50 is only due for the first 5 days. Kids under 12 years of age do not pay.
Venice: The overnight tax varies from € 1,25 in low season to € 2,50 in high season. It is due only for the first 5 days. Kids under 10 years of age do not pay. Youngers from 10 to 16 years of age have a 50% reduction.
Each City Councils can decide to delete or change the amount of the tax.

The features and amenities of each apartment (Air conditioning, Internet , etc) are published and described on our website, and no other facility can be demanded once the client arrives at the property

5.1 How to Book
In search availability it is always clearly indicated the total price , the deposit requested to confirm the booking , the balance to pay at check in . The deposit can be paid in complete safety way through paypal or by credit card . The data of the Credit Card are managed directly by the operator of your credit card ( eg Mastercard , Visa , etc. ) , which proceeds the confirmation of the payment and transfer of funds.

5.2 Booking changes
In the event of a change of dates the customer/user can request, prior notice of at least 30 days before the original date of arrival, the use of the deposit paid, as credit for the deposit of the new booking. The change of dates of stay, subject to availability of accommodation, is possible only during the calendar year of the original reservation. The postponement of the dates can be done exclusively in the same calendar year of the original reservation.

5.3 Cancellations policy
The cancellation fees will be calculated as follows:
• in case of cancellation at any time there is a service fee of euro 50 up to 30 prior to arrival with no further penalty;
• in case of cancellation 29-3 days before arrival, down payment will not be refunded;
• in case of cancellation with less than 72 hours of anticipation, there will be no refund;
As regards the calculation of days will be considered the date of the day the site receives from the customer / user cancellation notice (in the case of Sundays and Italian public holidays it the next business day) If the customer / user were to arrive later than the due date of delivery of the object, or does not take completely over the object, it will be charged the full amount of the established performance.

Animals are not allowed in any of our facilities. All our facilities are smoke-free. We kindly ask our clients to respect this rule.


The welcome at the property is fixed by appointment directly with the owner / manager of the facility Guests are expected to arrive after 14:00 pm. However, the check-in may be scheduled before depending on availability.
There is an additional 25 Euro fee in case of arrival after 9pm and a 40 Euro fee for all arrivals after 11pm in Rome and Florence, while a 40 Euro fee is applied after 21:00 in Venice. In Venice check in is not possible after Midnight.
The apartment has to be vacated at 10am on the day of departure.
The guests are kindly asked to provide a photocopy of their passport for every guest staying at the apartment/villa. It is not permitted to bring guests in the apartment or rooms unless their passport (or any other valid ID) has been registered, or without the owner's permission.

If the apartment and/or any of its contents are damaged by client, or his/hers guests, the client will be held responsible for the damage.
Clients are not allowed to exceed the number of guests specified in the reservation form, unless an agreement has been reached with the owner prior to the guests' arrival.
Clients are kindly asked to pay maximum attention to their keys, the doors' locks are, in some cases, quite sophisticated and hard to repair.
In case of loss, the client will be asked to pay for all expenses on the day of departure.


A security deposit may be required, if so, this is payable on check in for any eventual damage or breakage that may occur during your stay. The amount required varies according to the apartment.The security deposit is payable in cash on arrival. Upon check out the amount is refunded, unless it has to be used partly or fully for any damage

Neither the owners of our facilities nor Way to Blue Apartments is in any way responsible for the clients' personal belongings, nor for any other situation relative to the clients' personal safety.

The owner reserves the right to access the apartment or room if urgent maintenance problems occur.

In the event of a problem with the facility beyond the control of Way to blue Apartments, reserves the right to replace the booked accommodation with a similar one as per category and location, always in agreement with the customer

13.1 These Terms of Use are governed by Italian law.
13.2 For any controversy involving the same Terms and Conditions, jurisdiction is the court of Rome.
13.3 For any controversy involving english version of Terms and Conditions, it will referred to the original italian version.
13.4 Any matters not covered by these General Conditions will be applicable rules and regulations.
